Memories
Every single one of my friends owned a copy, but I didn’t, I couldn’t afford it
I was *very* into “Down Under” and “The Safety Dance”
It’s all harmonies, all the way down
“Kissing with Confidence” omg I’d forgotten
Paul Young was at college in Luton at the same time as my aunt so I heard about that quite a bit.
I was 13 and I am pretty sure that this was my first album.
“I was 6 and can still remember the Owl in the Moonlight Shadow video as clearly as it was yesterday (and can probably draw a direct line from that to being a fantasy-obsessed goth by my early teens)”
Why the Safety Dance was not a bigger hit I shall never understand
Every song is imprinted on my memory!
