- Exethanter the lich was once the wizard Khazan, but he does not remember this
- there is a set of scrolls that will bring Exethanter’s memory back in a secret room near the entrance
- if Buster the Bust is brought into the room where Exethanter’s Phylactery is kept, he will immediately regain all Khazan’s lost memories
- the Dark Powers will immediately try to make contact once the lower chamber of the Temple is found
- Drizlash has been waiting for Willem, to try to wrestle control of his mind again
