A traveler who came upon three stonecutters on a construction site. He asked the first stonecutter, “What are you doing?” “I’m laying bricks to feed my family.” he said. Then he asked the next stonecutter, “What are you doing?” and he replied, “I’m building a wall.” Finally, he asked the third stonecutter, “What are you doing?” and he said, “I’m building a cathedral to the Almighty.” The parable here is the difference in how we look at a task, depending on perspective and purpose.
